Tactical Flying Lesson
Three short helicopter flights shared between three participants, with two observation sectors and one hands on flight for a varied first taste of flying.
Available when you complete your booking with Adventure001.
How does the Tactical Flying Lesson work?
Three short flights give you three different ways to experience the helicopter.
Your experience starts with an introduction and briefing from the pilot, explaining how the helicopter works and what to expect before you take to the air.
The flying is then split into three short sectors of around six or seven minutes. Across them, you experience two observation flights and one hands on flight, with the three participants rotating between the available seats. Where possible, the hands on sector can also include a hover challenge.
This is a shared experience rather than one continuous private lesson. That gives you the chance to experience the helicopter from different positions while still getting a turn at the controls yourself.
No previous flying experience is needed, and Adventure001 states that the flying experience can count towards a pilot licence if you decide to continue learning.
