30 Minute Helicopter Lesson
Thirty minutes in a Robinson R44, one to one with an instructor, hands-on at the controls and experiencing the thrill of flying a helicopter for yourself.
Available when you complete your booking with Adventure001.
What happens during your helicopter lesson?
This is a hands-on flying lesson, and it’s unforgettable.
Before take-off, your instructor will talk you through the Robinson R44, introduce you to the main flying controls and explain what to expect once you are airborne.
Then comes the part you are here for. You’ll spend approximately 30 minutes in the air, one to one with your instructor, experiencing how a helicopter responds and taking the controls yourself under their guidance. It is enough time to get beyond simply sitting in the front seat and actually experience what flying a helicopter feels like.
No previous flying experience is needed. This can simply be a memorable first taste of helicopter flying, but if it sparks something more, the flying time can also count towards future helicopter pilot training.
