The flight changes when the helicopter starts responding to you
Sitting in a helicopter is exciting enough. Feeling how directly it reacts to a small movement of the controls is the part that makes a first lesson difficult to forget.
Tactical Flying gives you two perspectives on the experience. Across the three short sectors, you spend two observing from inside the cabin and one in the hands on flying position, so you see the controls being worked as well as getting your own turn with them.
The one to one lessons put the focus entirely on your own flying. With the instructor beside you, you begin matching each input with the way the helicopter responds and start to understand why such small movements demand so much attention.
Twenty minutes gets you properly involved. Thirty and forty minutes give you longer to repeat what you have been shown, become less tentative with the controls and enjoy the point where the aircraft begins to feel a little less unfamiliar.
